Dermot Kennedy 2024-2025 tour: Platinum-winning singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy today officially announced his upcoming The Sonder tour, which will take place this spring in North America. The 28-day tour, produced by Live Nation, starts in Vancouver and leads through New York’s Madison Square Garden to Dallas, Nashville, Chicago, Los Angeles and Boston, ending in mid-June in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The tour is a celebration of the acclaimed artist’s new album, Sonder, which will be released on Island Records/Interscope on November 4. Sonder, meaning "to realize that every random passer-by leads a life as vivid and complex as his own," has deeply touched Dermot and is an exciting new musical chapter for him. Highlights of the album include the beautiful piano ballad "Innocence and Sadness" recorded in a single take, the rousing "Kiss Me", the lead single "Something to Someone", which has been streamed more than 20 million times, and "Dreamer"which he recently presented on the late show with Stephen Colbert. The Sonder 2023 tour will be Kennedy’s first opportunity to present songs from the new album to North American fans.
